Pass the mint jelly!

31 March 2012

It's lambing season and what better way to celebrate than a short (though pricey) cab ride to Wimpole Hall and Home Farm!   The Great Aunt Laura and Uncle Tim planned to drive up and meet us there but sadly had some car trouble just a mile or two from Wimpole Hall.  Laura's in-laws came to help, dropped Laura off with us, and took Timmy to sort out the car.  Thankfully Laura got to the farm in time for some lamby relaxation therapy.  They are just that cute.  Don't you agree?

Cute little chocolatey ones

Fluffy white ones

Awww, snuggling with mum

Did you know sheep had such long tails?  Me neither!

To market, to market to buy a fat hog...

Don't worry!  That little piggy-wiggy was not harmed.  He/she just ran off for a sec to make the tourists squeal like, well, pigs and then wiggled back into the pen.

They kind of look clean and snuggley here.

May look like fun in the photo, but actually very demanding of the adults.  Bryce couldn't get the pedals going which meant... yes, you guessed it.  I get to push (and steer so that we don't knock over all the other frustrated toddlers who can't get them moving).

Yay!  Gingers unite!

Daffodils aplenty

Sheep & Daffs

Bryce modeling his boxer briefs.

And showing you his muscles.  His head looks enormous in these photos due to his long hair that has a little too much body.
